1. CoachTalk uses AI
CoachTalk is a personal golf coaching service, not a human coach. Certain conversations, spoken responses, summaries, insights and recommendations are generated or supported by artificial intelligence. An AI-generated response or synthetic voice is not a live human speaking to you. This disclosure applies to the relevant coaching and voice features as well as this information page.
The product focuses on coaching the golfer beyond swing mechanics. Removing the term 'AI' from the consumer product name does not mean that AI is absent from the service.
2. What AI does
Depending on the feature and available information, AI can help interpret text or speech, organise golf entries, connect relevant account history, highlight possible tendencies, ask coaching questions and suggest areas for reflection or practice. Inputs may come from CoachTalk conversations and from voluntarily captured rounds, GameTalk activity, MindSnaps, shots or practice records.
AI-generated insights are not measurements of your personality, a clinical evaluation or guarantees of improvement. They depend on the quality, completeness and relevance of the information available. CoachTalk may miss information, confuse details, offer an unhelpful interpretation or fail to recall part of a prior discussion.
3. Voice-led onboarding and voice conversations
CoachTalk may speak during onboarding using a generated voice. For version 1.5, the user enters their name as text, not through voice input. Later use of the microphone is controlled by the relevant device permission and product function. A synthetic voice does not indicate a live human is speaking.
If you choose a voice conversation, the service may use speech recognition, voice generation and AI processing through contracted providers. Audio and transcripts may be processed under different conditions. Read the Privacy Policy for more details.
4. Coaching context, memory and continuity
CoachTalk is designed to become more relevant as you share information about your golf. Depending on the current release and the data available, some previous conversations, game events, goals, practice information or observations may be used to form future responses.
This is not a guarantee that every message will be permanently remembered or that all channels use every item of historical data. You should correct inaccurate details and avoid relying on the system as your sole record of important information. The availability and limits of data-access, correction and deletion controls are explained in our Privacy Policy.
5. Limits and safe use
CoachTalk is for golf performance and reflection. It is not a PGA instructor delivering in-person technical lessons, a psychologist, a healthcare service, legal advice or an emergency service. Use your own judgment, especially while playing, driving or using equipment. Do not rely on an output that appears unsafe or inappropriate.
Do not interpret labels such as Focus, Confidence and Control as diagnoses. If you have a health or mental-health concern, consult an appropriate qualified professional.
6. Data processing and provider terms
To deliver a requested feature, the service may transmit relevant prompts, coaching context or audio to AI and voice service providers. We do not treat this as permission to publish your private conversations. Provider conditions can differ by service, account configuration and agreement. Processing can include operational or safety logs and, where the applicable terms or data-sharing choices permit it, model improvement. We do not make a blanket promise of zero retention, zero human access or exclusion from every training use. 7. Human review and reporting
We do not promise that a human will review each coaching response. Limited access to relevant content may be necessary for a support request, investigation of misuse, security incident or legal obligation, subject to appropriate restrictions.
