1. Why we use providers
Quantum Surprise, Unipessoal Lda operates CoachTalk using hosting, authentication, data storage, coaching, voice, subscription, payment and consent services. The service below receives the data needed for the corresponding function when that function is used. Feature and provider availability can differ by release and purchase channel.
Not every organisation has the same role. Providers can process data for CoachTalk, while payment providers, app stores and other organisations also act as independent controllers for their own operations. The Privacy Policy explains our purposes and your rights.
2. Infrastructure, account and coaching services

4. Processing conditions and international transfers
Provider links explain general terms; they do not by themselves establish the exact settings or a special agreement on a CoachTalk account. Some services can process data outside the EEA, including in the United States. Data location, operational logging, retention and access conditions differ between services. GDPR requires an applicable lawful transfer arrangement where relevant; information about the safeguards applicable to your data can be requested from privacy@coachtalk.golf.
Gemini's published terms distinguish paid-service processing from unpaid-service and voluntary data-sharing conditions. In the FoCoCo Google AI Studio project settings reviewed on 13 October 2026, GenerateContent request storage was disabled, while Interactions request storage was enabled with a selected retention window of 55 days. Stored Interactions were present in that project. These settings concern request storage and stateful conversation features; they do not establish zero retention for all Google processing, security logs or backups. The conditions applicable to an individual request also depend on the API and request settings used.
On 13 October 2026, we disabled Cartesia's model-training contribution setting for the Quantum Surprise organisation and verified that the change was saved. The control covers text-to-speech input text and output audio, and speech-to-text input audio and output text. This opt-out does not erase prior uses or enable Zero Data Retention. Our current Cartesia plan is Startup; Enterprise Zero Data Retention is not enabled by this change. We have not confirmed a specific operational retention period or processing location for every voice interaction. Please avoid sending sensitive information that is unnecessary for golf coaching.
No separate marketing-email provider is presented as active merely because a mail integration exists in source code. Billing providers may send their own transaction messages. Website newsletter signups are currently unavailable. Likewise, an older integration or a stored marketing ID does not establish that the service is active or receives production personal data.
